Chapter II · Philosophy

The principles we encoded, unchanged since 1837.

Our academy was founded to train the household staff of European royalty. The curriculum has been refined, but the principles have not moved. They are, we believe, the most stable specification a humanoid platform can adopt.

01

Anticipation over reaction

True service is delivered before it is requested. Our decisioning models predict need from context, not command.

02

Presence without intrusion

A humanoid in service must be felt, not noticed. We engineer for the choreography of withdrawal as much as approach.

03

Discretion as architecture

Privacy is not a setting. It is a structural property of the way the system remembers, forgets, and never speaks.

04

Calibrated to the household

No two principals are alike. Our protocols learn the rhythms, preferences, and unspoken codes of each residence.

A Note on Tradition

Why a butler academy is the right partner for a robotics company.

Robotics teams are extraordinary at perception, locomotion, and grasp planning. They are not, by trade, custodians of the codified rituals that govern private service in households of significant means.

Those rituals, how to enter a room, when to refill, where to stand during a difficult conversation, what to do with a misplaced confidence, are our subject matter. We have taught them to humans for generations. We are now in a position to teach them to your platform.

We are, to our knowledge, the only institution in the world doing this work, and the only one with the lineage to do it credibly.
